The serious business began in the WSK Euro Series, while a partly cloudy sky and a temperature of about 15 degrees bathed Zuera. The 31 pilots in Super KF opened hostilities with their official timed session.

Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex) set the reference time of the class with 1’00”094, 5 hundredths ahead of Nyck De Vries (Zanardi / Parilla). The favourites were at the front: Gary Catt (Tony Kart / Vortex) 3rd, Sauro Cesetti (Birel / BMB) 4th and Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) 5th. Laura Tillett (Tony Kart / TM) is again in great form and was 9th fastest, ahead of her countryman Ben Hanley (Maranello / Maranello). The CRG / Maxters were left behind for the moment, Kozlinski only 18th and Davide Fore 20th. No Intrepids were on track, as Maisano has gone car racing and De Brabander is now in KZ1.
