3rd heat twists: Convers confirms

It started badly, with the retirement of Nyck De Vries (Zanardi / Parilla) on the formation lap. After that the third Super KF heat was full of surprises, more or less good. Gary Catt (Tony Kart / Vortex) moved ahead of Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex). Brandon Maisano (Intrepid / TM) rebounded quickly on Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex), winning 5th place. Brandon attacked and passed on the 3rd lap, but was immediately pushed face-to-tail and paid dearly for his passage through the grass.

Ardigo and Catt engaged in an intense duel that finally turned to the advantage of the Italian. Meanwhile Convers closed up. Catt was penalized 10 seconds in the standings, which gave him 16th. Then Ardigo retired with a mechanical problem. Convers became the official leader of the race, followed by Felice Tiene (CRG / Maxter), Ben Cooper (Kosmic / Vortex) Ben Hanley (Maranello / Maranello) and Simo Puhakka (PCR / TM). De Brabander (Intrepid / TM) finished 6th and ahead of Maïsano and Kozlinski (CRG / Maxter), after coming through.
