New Super Pole, Victory For Catt

12 drivers are allowed in this year’s Super Pole for Super KF category with a novelty: they are all on track together for a session of 10 minutes. It’s different, perhaps less spectacular, either way the strategy will become more important so that everyone is equal in the track conditions. In this regard, the skies cleared as a result of a strong wind and a very cold, dry track after overnight rain.

Arnaud Kozlinski (CRG / Maxter) was soon in action and held the lead before being forced to withdraw prematurely, as Ben Cooper (Kosmic / Vortex). The times got slower at every turn with many different leaders, Cesetti (Birel / BMB), Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex), Convers (Kosmic / Vortex). Nyck De Vries (Zanardi / Parilla) remains for now at the back.

With 3 laps to go, Gary Catt (Tony Kart / Vortex) slammed in a superb 47.059 sec, 3 tenths faster than the others. This will be the reference time. Camponeschi approaches, then Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex), but Nyck De Vries appeared at the last moment to grab the 2nd position with 47.229 sec. Ardigo 3rd, 4th Camponeschi, 5th Convers. Cooper, 7th place, lost 5 places while Libor Toman (Birel / BMB) drops from 6th to 9th place.
