The Winter Cup saw the worst weather on the day devoted to Qualifying. Rain, wind, cold, everything was there to make it a painful Friday in Lombardy. The accumulated rainfall has made the paddock like a muddy battlefield, some are standing in a flood and the car park looks like a bayou, the motorhomes are bogged down and electricity is intermittent, … In short it is like Berezina.

What matters, however, is that better conditions are expected for Saturday afternoon and the competition holds a number of surprises in reserve…
