The start presented almost no problems for the 3rd and final Super Pro heat. The battle raged within the Intrepid team and Davide Fore (CRG / Maxter) took the opportunity to slip into 2nd place behind Bas Lammers at the beginning of the race, while Norman Nato occupied 3rd position and Jérémy Iglesias 4th. Arnaud Kozlinski (CRG / Maxter) was ahead of teammate Jonathan Thonon, and Tony Lavanant (Energy / TM) was 7th ahead of Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM), Ron White (CRG / Maxter) and Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex).

Nato did not stop there: his kart was working well and he went on the attack, first on Fore, then Lammers on the next lap. But watch the leaders! Kozlinski moved into 3rd position from Iglesias, then Fore lost ground. There were also between the F1 drivers, Schumacher and Buemi, then Piquet and Buemi, who didn’t give anything away … On lap 7, Thonon turned on the turbo and passed Koko then Iglesias recovered 3rd place. Thonon was slightly quicker and left Kozlinski struggling with Lavanant.

A few laps from the end, the top four, Nato, Lammers, Iglesias and Koko were all going well and the outcome was not yet assured. Nato was threatened by Lammers on the last lap, but Norman did not intend to let him go. Ardigo was fast to the end and managed to take Thonon, then Abbasse on the wire. It was a well deserved victory for Nato from Lammers and Iglesias, an Intrepid triple. Kozlinski, in 4th, is again in the best position to break this hegemony, Lavanant, 5th, has seriously improved his setup and Ardigo, 6th, finally moved his spoiler into the top of the table. Piquet, 12th, led a trio of car drivers with Buemi and Ragues 13th and 14th. Schumacher finished further down, but spent half the race with a severely twisted chassis.
