There is record attendance at Lonato for the last round of the WSK season: 194 drivers in 3 categories, which is a pleasant surprise for an end-of-season race. KF3 is more than full as some competitors were on a waiting list until Thursday evening. They will be testing for next season and there is euphoria in the paddock. Let’s hope it lasts!

Winter time requires the racing to stretch into the night and the Super Final Super KF will be semi-nocturnal like the F1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi: guaranteed fun! Following a recent subtle change in the regulations, Brandon Maïsano has no chance of winning the title because he has to recalculate one of his good results and as he will only have two races in this category it is settled for him. The battle will therefore be between Cesetti and Kozlinski. In free practice, the Birel driver set the better time, but the differences are small and Koko, the World Champion, is going well too.

Qualifying starts at 10am on Saturday morning, super pole for Super KF at 12:20. The qualifying heats will follow until 12 noon Sunday. Prefinales in KF2 and KF3 from 14h, finals from 15:30 to 16:30 and Super Final for Super KF, 40 km long, at 17h. It is cloudy but no rain is expected for the weekend at Lonato.
