Once the engines were up to temperature under the freshness of Lyon on Saturday morning at the GPO, Norman Nato (Intrepid / TM) went straight to the top, never ceasing to improve his time until he finally settled with 46”371. Second place was fought for by Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM), Yan Pesce (Energy / TM) and especially Clement Da Silva on a new Intrepid / TM who took the position at the end of the session. Pesce was 3rd ahead of Abbasse and Pierre Etienne Chaumat (Energy / Maxter), all qualifying for the Super Pole.

Thomas Mich (Birel / TM) finished just behind in 6th position, and Mathias Gallepe (Sodi / Maxter) will make up the 7th row next to Pierre Ragues (Sodi / TM) and ahead of Tristan Papavoine (Birel / TM) and Eric Ramon (Sodi / TM).
