The championship favourites all retired once in the qualifying heats, except Yannick De Brabander took second place behind Miika Kunranta, in a surprising 1st intermediate classification. Richard Bradley took 3rd position. Aaro Vainio will start in 4th place and Manuel Renaudie in 5th, which is not too far off. Simo Puhakka is ranked 7th in front of Oliver Rowland and Jason Parrott. Aurelien Forgeron completes the top 10. With these results, the European title is not assured, and no less than 6 drivers can possibly claim it. The two races on Sunday are likely to be exciting to follow.
