The sun pierced the ceiling of low dark clouds in places over Fagnes Karting for the start of the KF2 final. However, when the sky cleared Brandon Maisano was is the victim of an engine failure on the formation lap. This has been a hard weekend for one of the major GPO favorites.

Guillaume De Ridder soared ahead impeccably of Kenny Vermeylen, Clement Bluy, Loïc Reguillon and Sébastien Bailly. Reguillon came off the track in the middle of the circuit and dropped to 11th. On the 2nd lap, De Ridder was in command, followed by Bluy, Bailly, Dupont, Chatin and Fraïsse.

Bailly posted several fastest laps and was very strong. He passed Bluy quickly for 2nd place and set out to hunt down De Ridder, but he resisted his attempts well. Over the next few laps Bailly overcame his compatriot and opponent. Meanwhile, Reguillon came back very strongly and took 3rd position from Dupont, Bluy and Chatin while Siebenborn and Fraïsse participated in a duel for 7th position. Barbarin made a fine effort on the last lap and ravished the 7th place from Fraïsse.
