The local weather forecasts continued to announce clear skies and no precipitation, but the rain started at Muro Leccese 10 minutes before the start of the first final of the day. But the rain lasted just long enough to get people talking, and the start took place on a dry track.

Hajek started first, long before his opponents and quickly got a few steps ahead of Piccoli, Hawksworth, Fuchs and Tilloca. Fuoco was overwhelmed on the second lap, then Fuchs crashed on the next lap. Da Silva fell to 30th on the 3rd lap, while Benedetti moved up to 24th place. In second throughout, Piccoli seemed closer to Hajek, but he controlled the situation. Hawksworth soon saw his 3rd place threatened by Tilloca who eventually passed him on the 9th lap.

As expected, De Conto was very strong starting 28th, and by mid race he had climbed to 14th position. Fifth place was taken by Cane from Ferri, but both drivers continued to fight. At the front Hajek was assured, and Tilloca did his utmost to threaten Piccoli but in vain.

1- Hajek (Tony Kart/Vortex)
2- Piccoli (CKR/TM)
3- Tilloca (CRG/Maxter)
4- Hawksworth (Energy/TM)
5- Cane (Spirit/TM)
