The KZ2 European Championship started seriously on Friday afternoon, in the first round this weekend at Muro Leccese. Pole went to the Italian Leonardo Fuoco (CRG / TM), but there were no fewer than 87 pilots in the same second. The Italians have monopolized the first 3 places with Lazzaro Ferri (Tony Kart / Vortex) second and Luca Tilloca (CRG / Maxter) third. Obviously the level of KZ in the Open Masters appears to be high.
Paolo De Conto (Energy / TM), 4th, took the advantage from his teammate Jack Hawksworth in 8th. The top French driver, Clément Da Silva (Birel / TM) took fifth. There were mixed results for the Pex family: Yard was 10th and Jorrit was downgraded to 95th position.
The classification of the French contingent: William Benedetti (CRG / TM) 28th, Christophe Benoit (Birel / Maxter) 32nd, Emilien Grosso (PCR / Pavesi) 37th, Stéphane Lefebvre (Tony Kart / TM) 40th, Eric Ramon (Sodi / TM) 45th, Aurélien Siniscalchi (EA Racing / TM) 61st, Cédric Goudant (Tony Kart / Pavesi) 65th, Trsitan Papavoine (Birel / TM) and Anthony Garbarino 82nd (RK / TM) 89th.
