Victory for Grenhagen in Final

The KF2 final did not provide much suspense with regard to the name of the winner, since Mans Grenhagen (Energy / TM), who had already won the pre-final, led the race from start to finish. Second place was won after long being the subject of a fierce fight between Brandon Maisano (Intrepid / TM), Chris Lock (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Aniello Smarazzo (Tony Kart / Vortex). Matteo Vigano brilliantly recovered after retiring in the pre-final, but could not do better than 12th.

Maisano battled against Lock for a few corners ion lap 2, then settled into second place. At first he stayed quite a distance from Grenhagen, then seemed a little closer on the 6th lap, and then let him pull awa again and even gave way to Smarrazzo. More worrying for him, Felice Tiene came back strongly and took 3rd position. Later, Ben Cooper took 5th place from Lock, Luka and Beretta.

As we approached the finish, the action seemed to stop, but Tiene attempted to overtake Smarazzo on a righthander and paid dearly for it by dropping down 10 places. Maisano, who did not have many hopes at the start, got the 3rd place on the podium.
