CRG Feels Confident About Its New Chassis

The first round of the season, the WSK at La Conca, confirmed the potential of the new CRG chassis (homologated in 2009), already emerged during the winter tests. The chassis is still in an early phase of development, but performances are already good. Whether a full speed on a lap, or during a 40-km long race, the chassis efficiency is always great.

Of course, it was Arnaud Kozlinski who showed his talent by winning the Superpole and gaining the second place in the final. However, Jonathan Thonon’s performance, with his 6th place, was equally convincing. As for Davide Forè, he fully accomplished his mission from a development view point.

In the KF2, young Belgian driver Stoffel Vandoorne, for VDK Racing Team, showed all the speed of his CRG kart by setting the 2nd time in timed qualifying, then by winning a heat, before finishing with a superb 4th place in the final.

Now that there are less than 2 weeks to go, the traditional Winter Cup rendez-vous should allow the CRG to validate its technical choices and confirm the quality of its new equipment.
