After Super KF, Felice Tiene put his Kosmic / Vortex KF2 in the timesheets at 48”584, or within a second of pole in Super KF.

But the differences are very slim between the competitors. The Belgian Stoffel Vandoorne with his CRG / Maxter was in 2nd position by 14 milliseconds. Britain’s Ben Cooper (Tony Kart / Vortex), winner here in the Senior Rotax World Finals in 2008, posted the 3rd fastest time by 3 milliseconds.

Matteo Viganò (Birel / Parilla) followed in 4th place, followed by the Polish Karol Basz (RK / Parilla) and Brandon Maisano (Intrepid / TM), in 6th. Giovinazzi (Topkart / Parilla), Kanamaru (Tony Kart / Vortex), Butcher (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Sami Luka (DR / Maxter) completed the top ten.
