CRG monopolises KZ2

Pre-finale-KZ2.jpgAndrea Benedetti made a start that propelled him ahead of the field in the prefinal of KZ2. Of course, this is not to the taste of Jonathan Thonon took the lead on the next lap. Thomas Mich kept pace with 3rd position before becoming a victim of a tightened full line causing a spectacular crash. Rick Dreezen was third ahead of Tony Lavanant, the European champion in the category.

Marco Ardigò attacked after a big rise from 22nd place. Thonon got away, Dreezen attacked Benedetti and the two CRGs now occupied the top places.

Bas Lammers overtook Ardigo on the 8th lap to gtake 10th. Lavanant closed on Benedetti, while Mathias Gallepe fought against Jack Hawksworth who ended up in the grass, or rather what serves for grass at Zuera.

Manuel Renaudie fought in a group and managed to take the advantage and 6th place. Lavanant waited for the final lap to get rid of Benedetti who resisted hard. Thonon took the victory ahead of Dreezen.
