Another victory for Flavio Camponeschi! The European champion led each lap, way ahead of everyone as usual. He seems untouchable, taking the lead immediately and therefore a gap to the field. His chances of the world title increase before our eyes.

Behind him the race was not calm, but there were no regrettable major crashes. Zoel Amberg could not go any further than the first corner because of engine problems. Loïc Réguillon was positioned to run in the wake of Camponeschi, followed by Sami Luka. However, Tom Grice and Oliver Rowland moved in to 2nd and 3rd places before the end of the first lap. Guillaume Barbarin attempted a daring overtaking move which earned him a big descent down the order.

Rowland quickly dropped Grice. A fight between Grice, Réguillon and Luka followed. Starting 13th, Zdenek Groman came back strongly and knocked on the door of the top 5 from the 4th lap. He was soon to move into 3rd position. Petri Suvanto was just behind Grice, in 5th place. Felice Tiene and Leonardo Fuoco soon came to meddle in the fight going on in the pack behind the top three. Jack Harvey, with damaged rear bodywork, dropped to the depths of the rankings. Suvanto found an opening on Grice and escaped.

Camponeschi, Rowland, Groman and Suvanto, the four top drivers put some distance between themselves and with the rest of the competitors. The end of the race was driven by the comeback of Swedish driver Timmy Hansen, who got between Réguillon and Luka. Grice, slowed down for a time, found a better carburetor setting and regained his 5th position. Réguillon finally took the advantage from Luka. Oliver Rowland received a penalty of 10 seconds for a jumped start. Julien Deschamps should be noted for his rise from 23rd to 11th place! Unlike William Benedetti who failed to perform as he wished. The fastest lap in the race went to Groman.
