Forty years of the Braga club

The Automóvel Clube do Minho celebrates its 40th anniversary this year with a busy schedule, in karting as well as cars and motorcycles, which are the three major disciplines represented at Braga. This will culminate on October 25th, the anniversary of the founding of the club.

Braga has hosted many international karting races:

– European Junior Championship 1994
– European Junior Championship 1998
– World Championship FA and Super A 2000
– European ICA Championship 2001
– World Championship Super A 2002
– European FA Championship 2003
– European championship and FA Junior 2004
– World Championship 2005 FA
– European qualifications for ICA and Junior ICA 2006

The International Karting Braga would like to salute the memory of its president, Alvaro Miranda, who recently passed away at the age of 64 years. He chaired the Clube do Minho Automóvel since 2002 and served as a commissioner international sports.
