The bells will ring at Braga

Clutch_CIK.jpgTo try to calm the excess of development made by a many of the teams on the clutches in KF, the CIK have just presented the new control procedure applicable this weekend at the European Championship for KF1 and KF2 at Braga.

During the test, the clutch must engage at 5000rpm in accordance with the regulations, but the kart must now pass a small obstacle rather than continue forwards. It is an oblong metal blade, 12 mm high,
placed in front of the wheels. The test may take place the test sessions, races and qualifying races.

The CIK seems to have taken the advantage in the eternal game of catand mouse that goes on with competitors. Will the test will be conclusive? Will there be any changes in the hierarchy on the track?
Answers on Sunday evening, after the European titles have been won in KF1 & KF2.
