Alessandro Manetti (CRG / Maxter) posted the best time in KZ2 with 1’03”923 ahead of Marco Ardigo (TonyKart / Vortex),the championship leader by 2.6 tenths. In third, Simo Puhakka (PCR / TM) was also in the first session. It was not until Arnaud Kozlinski in fourth place with 1’04”401 that there was a driver from the second session, a mere hundredth ahead of Davide Forè (Maranello / Maxter).
Laudato was sixth, Cozzaglio seventh, Thonon only tenth, Piccini 17th, Mich 19th. Benjamin Bailly, 13th in his session, was 30th overall, ahead of Hawksworth. The first Energy drivers, Mathias Gallepe and Tony Lavanant were in the 33rd position. Bas Lammers didn’t set a time and was 60th and last.
