Armand Convers started very well in the B vs C KF1 heat, but Marco Ardigo wasted no time closing on him while Yannick De Brabander lost places. Arnaud Kozlinski in fourth was already threatening Alessandro Bressan.
On the second lap, Ardigo went into the lead while Kozlinski was third behind Convers. De Brabander and Bressan fought for fourth. On the next lap, Kozlinski also successfully attacked Convers. Further back in the pack Will Stevens was pushing the braking in turn four and spun. Sauro Cesetti made a very impressive comeback, attacking Bressan and De Brabander to take fourth. Unfortunately he retired on the next lap with mechanical problems.
Alban Varutti, back in 19th on the grid, had a good race where he moved into the top ten, just ahead of Jean-Philippe Guignet who also made a good rebound. He started to threaten Varutti on the last lap. Parrott and Catt managed to take De Brabander.
An uncontestable victory went to Ardigo, ahead of Kozlinski, Convers, Bressan and Parrott.
