Brandon Maisano and Mathieu Jaminet started on the front row in the KF3 Prefinal in strong sunshine. Maisano led initially but Jonathan Helias seized command decisively at the second corner. Adrien Leidinger was in third ahead of Jaminet, Michael Heche and Guillaume De Ridder.
Jaminet repassed Leidinger on the second lap, followed soon after by Heche. De Ridder was in fifth. The race stabilised a bit and the top three created a gap from their pursuers. On the sixth lap, Maisano quietly regained the lead. Three laps later Jaminet came to a stop in the grass with a loose plug cap.
The three LM Karting/Intrepid France drivers took the top three places: Maisano, Helias and Heche. De Ridder finished in fourth.
