Essay on Sunday: the times

Thomas Mich took pole in KZ2 with 48″442 and confirmed it by completing several laps within a tenth. Then Anthony Abbasse followed with 48.635, then Norman Nato and Christophe Benoit. Enzo Zefirini posted the seventh fastest time, Pierre Etienne Chaumat the eighth. Benjamin Bailly was 14th and Alban Varutti 16th.

Not surprisingly Brandon Maisano achieved the best time in KF3. Regularly at 51″8, Brandon posted 51″691 to silence the competition. Behind him, it was between Jonathan Helias and Mathieu Jaminet, with the latter four hundredths ahead. Guillaume De Ridder was eighth fastest.

There was a surprise in the first timed session with a KF2 pole time of 50″550 from Paul-Loup Chatin, who had not seen such a good result since the Grand Prix of Lyon. Andrea Barlesi took second at two tenths adrift with Charles Lacaze in third, ahead of William Benedetti, Olivier Tilkin, Clement Bluy and Alban Authie.

In the second session, the Belgians were in control with Robin Frijns in the lead (50″676) ahead of Stoffels Van Doorne three thousandths behind then Sebastien Bailly in 50″705. Loic Reguillon was fourth and Julien Deschamps fifth.
