Suvanto takes victory on the last lap

Foster-Jones attacked Johansson, and they passed Otero now in third position. Robin Frijns was strong at the start of the race; he peaked in fourth position. Johansson took the lead on lap eight and quick pulled out a small lead on Foster-Jones. Fighting for eighth place were Giaguaro Nero and Otero, who had dropped back. Jack Harvey was hard to find.

Petri Suvanto increased his pace and came back from 10th to third, then second. Oliver Rowland attacked and passed Foster-Jones, and Giaguaro Nero overcame Frijns who was slower at the end of the race.

At the start of the last lap, Johansson was still in the lead, but the threat was clear for the Energy driver. First Suvanto passed him, then Rowland, both in the last corners. Johansson couldn’t contain Foster-Jones and finally Smarazzo overtook at the last corner.
