Tilkin wins KF2 Prefinal

Guillaume Barbarin made the best start of the second attempt at the Prefinal ahead of Charles Lacaze. The rain stopped, but the track was still wet.

Robin Frijns passed Lacaze, then Tilkin moved into second. Loic Reguillon remained in fifth position ahead of Sami Luka and William Benedetti. Sebastien Bailly was 10th, but lost time in an incident that turned him back to front. Julien Deschamps was 12th.

Lacaze headed Frijjns, while Barbarin and Tilkin broke away and were alone in the lead. Bailly overtook with authority and Frijns retook Lacaze two laps from the end, which saw Tilkin win the race on wet tyres. Luka finished fourth, ahead of Reguillon, Benedetti and Albert. Bailly was ninth.
