The starting grid in KZ2 was special with no less than 42 drivers ready to get down to business. The start was uneventful, which was a pleasant surprise.

Enzo Zeferini made a very good start, as well as Anthony Abbasse, but it was Norman Nato who immediately took command off the race. Thomas Mich followed the three leading men, threatening Abbasse who he overtook on the third lap.

Nato took off while battles raged among his pursuers. Emilien Grosso returned from the depths of his 24th position and peaked at 13th place before dropping back to 22nd. Pierre Krypiak, Morgan Weber and Mike Courquin joined the winners circle. Clement Da Silva and Christophe Benoit posted the fastest laps, while Thomas Letailleur remained in the wake of his team-mate Courquin.

Finallly Abbasse took third place from Mich and Weber dropped back to tenth place, just ahead of Ken Allemann.
