Scumacher back to go-kart

3rd edition, Sunday, November 25, “Desafio Internacional das Estrelas”, the star’s challenge, in kartódromo dos Ingleses, Florianopolis, Brazil. It is a chartity kart race, organized by Felipe Massa, comprising pilots Formula 1 as Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Luca Badoer, Christian Klien, drivers GP2, Indy, Stock Car and Super Trucks.

During the first qualifying, Schumacher is already proving itself to Nelsinho Piquet and Felipe Massa.

The seven times F1 world champion starts in the 2nd line of the race 1. He took command in the second lap and wins before Piquet Jr, Luciano Burti and Rubens Barrichello.

For a better show in race 2, the first eight drivers start in reverse order of their ranking in the race 1 and the race reported fewer points (20 instead of 25).

Schumacher starts 8th and Lucas Di Grassi (pilot GP2) won the race in front of Luciano Burti (Stock Car) and Felipe Massa. Schumi finished in 6th position.

At the end of points, Michael Schumacher has won the final.

Smiling after a kart race as he always love, Schumacher joked that he recognizes himself “still a little talent.”

He promised Felipe Massa to return next year.
