OK Qualifying for the Champions of the Future Euro Series at Kristianstad took place under partly cloudy skies, with a temperature of 18° to 19° and a dry track.
Group 1: Matveev – 49”058
Thibaut Ramaekers (KR/Iame) was fastest on his first lap, but Dmitry Matveev (KR/Iame) took the lead on the second lap. Matveev improved to 49”058 on his third lap and beat Gabriel Gomez (CRG/Iame) by 95 thousandths. Ramaekers finished 3rd, almost 2 tenths back, followed by Vivek Kanthan (Parolin/TM). David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex) was 5th, more than 3 tenths behind Kaï Rillaerts (Sodi/TM). Back in OK, Viktor Gustafsson (CRG/Iame) finished 12th. Sofia Zanfari (KR/Iame) finished 24th ahead of Miguel Costa (Parolin/TM).
Group 2: Hélias – 49”224
Fastest second lap went to Jimmy Hélias (KR/Iame) ahead of Jindrich Pesl (KR/Iame) and the best performance of the group for the Frenchman in 49”224 on the third lap, 43 thousandths ahead of Pesl. Louis Iglesias (CRG/Iame) finished 3rd, 57 thousandths ahead of Roland Kuklane (Tony Kart/TM) and Lewis Francis (KR/Iame). Andrea Dupé (KR/Iame) was 12th, Tom Dussol (CRG/Iame) 23rd and Tom Leuillet (Tony Kart/Vortex) 25th.
Group 3: Drummond – 49”238
On the second lap, Davide Bottaro (CRG/Iame) was leading ahead of Zac Drummond (Parolin/TM). Drummond improved to 49’238 on the third lap, with Fionn Maclaughlin (KR/Iame) just 5 thousandths further back, Bottaro 3rd ahead of Matt Corbi (KR/Iame) and Scott Lindblom (KR/Iame). Matheus Morgatto (Birel ART/TM) finished 6th, Andy Consani (Sodi/TM) 10th.
