Cremona: Blandino sets the fastest Mini time

36 drivers competed in two sessions of Mini Gr.3 Qualifying for Round 2 of the WSK Super Master Series. The Cremona track was wet and the rain continued to fall.

Session 1: Legenkyi – 1’09”312
Zack Zhu (EKS/TM) was fast at the start of the session, before Oleksandr Legenkyi (KR/Iame) took the lead ahead of Matteis Stigsen (Tgroup/TM) and Daniel Miron Lorente (KR/Iame). Gioele Girardello (Parolin/TM) then took the lead ahead of Antoine Venant (KR/Iame), but in the end Legenkyi was fastest in 1’09”312 on his fifth and final lap. Girardello followed at 3.5 tenths ahead of Miron Lorente, with Venant 4th and Stigsen 5th. Zhu finished 11th.

Session 2: Blandino – 1’08”648
Cristian Blandino (Tgroup/TM) was fastest on the second lap ahead of Maxim Bobreshov (KR/Iame) and Bruno Priam (Parolin/TM). Blandino continued to make progress and secured pole position with a time of 1’08”648 on lap 5. Antoni Ociepa (Lenzo/LKE) followed him by more than 6 tenths, Priam was 3rd, Daniil Kutskov (KR/Iame) 4th and Vsevolod Osadchyi Suslovskyi (Birel ART/TM) 5th. Lucas Bohomme (Exprit/Vortex) was a strong 6th, Alessandro Truchot (Parolin/Iame) 9th and William Calleja (Parolin/Iame) 11th.
