Despite a difficult final heat in which a penalty contributed to his 13th place, Dmitry Matveev (KR/Iame) retained 1st position at the end of the OK Qualifying Heats of the WSK Euro Series in Sarno thanks to his two victories. Salim Hanna (KR/Iame) remained 2nd ahead of Kirill Kutskov (KR/Iame) and Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin/TM), while Zac Drummond (Parolin/TM) dropped two places to 5th. Sebastiano Pavan (Tony Kart/Vortex) had moved up six places to 6th ahead of Walther David (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/Vortex). Andrea Dupé (KR/Iame) moved up four places to 11th.
