Lammers dominates OK Super Heat B

European Champion Rene Lammers (Parolin/TM) started on pole next to Gabriel Gomez (CRG/IAME) ahead of Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin/TM) and Mark Dubnitski (CRG/IAME).

Lammers retained the lead at the start while Gomez was briefly passed by Khavalkin. Mattia Colnaghi and Olin Galli moved up to 4th and 5th ahead of Dubnitski to make a CRG trio. Alex Powell (KR/IAME), starting 5th, lacked pace early on and was passed by Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM) and Dmitry Matveev (KR/IAME). Gomez passed Khavalkin for 2nd but was 7 tenths behind Lammers, a gap he couldn’t overcome. Two laps from the end Khavalkin retook the position from the Brazilian who continued to fight.

Lammers won 1.965s ahead of Khavalkin with Gomez 3rd, Galli 4th, Colnaghi 4th and Dubnitski 6th. Andrea Dupe (KR/IAME) finished 9th, Jules Caranta (Tony Kart/Vortex) 12th, Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart/TM) 14th and Maxens Verbrugge (CRG/IAME) 17th.
