OK-Junior Super Heats: Ramaekers and Costoya win.

The weather was fine on Saturday morning in Cremona for the OK-Junior super heats of the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series, with temperatures of 25°C.

Super Heat 1: Ramaekers well ahead of Bondarev
Thibaut Ramaekers (KR/Iame) was already putting the pressure on leader Oleksandr Bondarev (KR/Iame) from the start. Ramaekers was leading on the first lap ahead of Iacopo Martinese (KR/Iame), with Bondarev 3rd. Andy Consani (Parolin/TM) was back in the top 10. Dries Van Langendonck (Exprit/TM) joined the battle for the lead. Monza and Alfie Slater (LN/TM) clashed and retired on lap 4. Ramaekers had regained the lead ahead of van Langendonck, Martinese and Bondarev. Kit Belosky (Birel ART/TM) was 5th, followed by Scott Lindblom and Maria Germano Nieto (Tony Kart/Vortex). Consani had lost places in a battle with Mees Houben (Tony Kart/TM). Bondarev was back in 2nd place, 9 tenths behind Ramaekers. David Cosma Cristofor (KR/Iame) made a strong comeback of 12 places to 9th. Ramaekers finished with an excellent pace and took the win with the fastest lap and a 1.3″ lead over Bondarev, Martinese 3rd, van Langendonck 4th and Belofsky 5th. Consani returned to his starting position of 13th.

Super Heat 2: Costoya takes on Saleh
Taym Saleh (KR/Iame) took 1st place in the first lap ahead of Niklas Schaufler (KR/Iame), Christian Costoya (Parolin/TM), Filippo Sala (Sodi/TM) and Salim Hanna (LN/TM), while Schaufler was 5th. Costoya came back in the wake of the leader, while Zac Drummond (Parolin/TM) closed in on the top five with Jack Iliffe (Parolin/TM) in his wake. Costoya moved into the lead at the halfway point and immediately distanced Saleh. Hanna was 3rd, Schaufler 4th and Sala 5th. Costoya won the race 5 tenths ahead of Saleh. Schaufler finished 3rd with the fastest time ahead of Hanna and Sala. Iliffe was 6th, Drummond 7th. Maël Le Marchand (Kosmic/Vortex) made up 11 places to finish 25th.
