Cremona: Bondarev unbeaten in the Junior heats of the Champions of the Future

3rd in Qualifying, Oleksandr Bondarev (KR/Iame) completed a grand slam with five consecutive wins in the OK-Junior Qualifying Heats of the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series on the Cremona circuit. Although it was more or less cloudy, the weather remained warm but not excessively so. Nevertheless, the competition remained very close with poleman Niklas Schaufler (KR/Iame) and his runner-up Dries Van Langendonck (Exprit/TM) tied on three wins and two 3rd places each. Christian Costoya made a fine comeback in 4th place (+7 places) ahead of Thibaut Ramaekers (KR/Iame). Taym Saleh (KR/Iame) moved up four places to 6th, while Stepan Antonov (KR/Iame) moved up from 22nd to 7th. Salim Hanna (LN/TM) moved back into the top 10 (up 15 places), Freddie Slater (LN/TM) was 17th (up 19 places), Lev Krutoholov (Tony Kart/Iame) 20th (up 22 places), Zac Drummond (Parolin/TM) 22nd (up 15 places) and Andy Consani (Parolin/TM) 25th (up 40 places). Maël Le Marchand (Kosmic/Vortex) narrowly qualified for the Super Heats in 72nd position, but Lisa Billard (Exprit/Vortex) had to stop there.
