Rødby: Powell takes the lead after the OK heats

With four wins and a 2nd place, Alex Powell (KR/Iame) dominated the OK Qualifying Heats of the Champions of the Future Euro Series in Denmark. The Jamaican was ahead of Gabriel Gomez (CRG/Iame), a two-time winner, and poleman Arthur Poulain (Tony Kart/Vortex), who also had two wins to his name. Joe Turney (KR/Iame) remains well placed in 4th place ahead of Fionn Mac Laughlin (KR/Iame), who confirms his excellent level of performance by maintaining his position in the top five. The two Belgians Thomas Strauven (KR/Iame) and Ean Eyckmans (Tony Kart/Vortex) followed each other in 6th and 7th positions ahead of Matheus Morgatto (Birel ART/TM), who moved up five places. Despite retiring in his second heat, Kean Nakamura-Berta (KR/Iame) climbed back up to 9th ahead of his team-mate Enzo Tarnvanichkul (KR/Iame). Just outside the top 10, David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex) had regained 13 places, while Sebastiano Pavan (Tony Kart/Vortex) was disqualified from the last heat due to a missing transponder, which relegated him to 14th position. Further back, Mark Dubnitski (CRG/TM) moved up 20 places to 16th, while Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin/TM) had not lost his drive to move up to 17th (+9 pl) ahead of Maksimilian Popov (KR/Iame), who had moved up 21 places. Jules Caranta (Energy/TM) maintained his 21st position between his team-mates Martin Molnar (Energy/TM) and Tomass Stolcermanis (Energy/TM). Rene Lammers (Parolin/TM) had not yet found his feet in Denmark and was 23rd ahead of Maciej Gladysz (LN/TM), while Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM) moved up from 37th to 26th place.For his debut in OK, Senna van Walstijn (Sodi/TM) was convincing in 29th position with a gain of 28 places.
