Gomez and Nakamura-Berta tied at the top of the OK heats in Trinec

An identical score of 244 points (four wins and a 2nd place) was reached by the poleman Gabriel Gomez (CRG/Iame) and the runner-up Kean Nakamura-Berta (KR/Iame) in the top two positions of the Qualifying Heats of the second round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series in Trinec. Sebastiano Pavan (Tony Kart/Vortex), who won three times, was 3rd ahead of Tomass Stolcermanis (Energy/TM), who won once. Alex Powell (KR/Iame) moved up from 20th to 5th place, contradicting the general opinion that it is difficult to overtake on the Steel Racing International Circuit. Fionn MacLaughlin (KR/Iame) was 6th ahead of Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM), who was forced to retire in his final heat. Jan Przyrowski (Tony Kart/Vortex) had regained nine places to take 8th position ahead of Jakub Kamenik (Tony Kart/TM) and Gustaw Wisniewski (Exprit/TM). Guillaume Bouzar (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished 13th and Jules Caranta (Energy/TM) 16th (+3 pl). Joe Turney (KR/Iame), who was very good at overtaking, had moved up 33 positions to 18th. Arthur Poulain (Tony Kart/Vortex) remained on the pace in 22nd position. David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex) had skipped his last three heats for family reasons, but was still 34th before his scheduled return on Sunday morning. Maxens Verbrugge (Parolin/TM) remained in 48th place. Jimmy Hélias (Tony Kart/Vortex) had dropped to 57th place ahead of Andrea Dupé (Sodi/TM).
