Pole-sitter Lewis Wherrell (Exprit/TM) had to fight hard to maintain his lead in the OK-Junior Qualifying Heats of the second round of the WSK Super Master Series at Franciacorta. His first three victories helped him, but the end of the heats was less easy. Elliot Kaczynski (Tony Kart/Vortex) climbed from 13th to 2nd place, ahead of Niklas Schaufler (KR/Iame) and Christian Costoya (Parolin/TM) in 4th. Thibaut Ramaekers (KR/Iame) moved up 16 places into the top five ahead of Salim Hanna Hernandez (LN/Vortex) and above all Alfie Slater (LN/Vortex) who moved up 30 places. Filippo Sala (Sodi/TM) was 12th, Louis Cochet (Sodi/TM) moved up 10 places to 22nd and Sebastian Lehtimaki (Tony Kart/Vortex) dropped back to 31st. Sacha Avril (Tony Kart/Vortex) had moved up from 76th to 54th position. Andy Consani was the victim of a spectacular accident and had to return to France to treat an open fracture of the collarbone. Our thoughts are with you Andy.
