RMCIT: Schoen wins the Mini Max

Paul Schoen (KR/Rotax) started perfectly from the 1st position on the grid of the RMCIT Mini Final. Max Sadurski (Energy/Rotax) and Luka Scelles (Sodi/Rotax) followed closely behind, while Toms Strele (LN/Rotax) lost 2 places in 4th place. In 8th place, Ivonn Simeonova (Parolin/Rotax) had recovered 10 places. Strele was back in 3rd place in the leading quartet. Clovis Nougueyrède (Exprit/Rotax) was in 5th position by 1,5”. Strele moved up to 2nd place on the fifth lap, 7 tenths behind the very fast Schoen.

In the second half of the race, the battle was between Schoen and Strele, the two fastest drivers in the field separated by a full second. Simeonova continued her effort and entered the top five. Scelles was able to move up to 3rd ahead of Sadurski. Schoen maintained his advantage and after 13 laps he took the lead, 1.2 seconds ahead of Strele, who set the fastest lap. Scelles secured 3rd place against Sadurski and Simeonova who had moved up 13 places. Nougueyrède finished 6th ahead of Antoine Grisel (Kosmic/Rotax) and Victor Galmiche (Tony Kart/Rotax). Dragos Avasilcutei (Sodi/Rotax) had a difficult race with a loss of 10 places to 13th.
