The Qualifying Practice for the Rotax Max Challenge International Trophy ended in Le Mans with the 32 DD2 drivers. Most of the participants entered the track late and warmed up cautiously before increasing the pace. Antoine Barbaroux (Sodi/Rotax) was the fastest in 51”887 on his second lap. He then improved to 51”819 ahead of Paolo Besancenez (Birel ART/Rotax) at 0.137”. Barbaroux remained on pole, with Besancenez 2nd, then Mathias Bjerre Jakobsen (Tony Kart/Rotax) 3rd, Philipp Loacker (Sodi/Rotax) 4th and Dawid Maslakiewicz (Kosmic/Rotax) 5th. Nicolas Picot (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished 8th and Xen De Ruwe (Tony Kart/Rotax) 10th.
