15 laps were on the programme for the OK-Junior Final of the European Championship in Zuera, under sunny skies with a temperature of 22°. Arthur Dorison (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Guillaume Bouzar (Tony Kart/Vortex) were on the front row of the grid ahead of Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM) and Zac Drummond (Parolin/TM).

After two false starts, the race was finally on. The inside row started faster and a spin stopped several drivers including Maxens Verbrugge (KR/Iame), Lenn Nijs (KR/Iame) and Reno Francot (Birel ART/TM). Tye took the lead on the second lap ahead of Enzo Tarnvanichkul (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Dorison. Bouzar was 5th and Jules Caranta (Energy/TM) 11th. The leading trio quickly distanced themselves from the pack led by Drummond. Maciej Gladysz (LN/Vortex) passed Bouzar for 5th place. Tarnvanichkul closed in on his team-mate Dorison, while leader Tye took the lead. Caranta’s machine came on after lap 5 and he came back to 9th with a fastest lap. On lap 10, Tye was leading 1,2” ahead of Dorison and Tarnvanichkul in the middle of a battle. Lammers was 4th ahead of Gladysz, Caranta was 7th ahead of Bouzar and Dmitry Matveev (Tony Kart/Vortex).
