Fluxa Cross and Dzitiev win the OK-Junior Prefinals in Sarno

It was 10° and sunny in Sarno for the OK-Junior Prefinals of the fourth round of the WSK Super Master Series.

Kirill Kutskov (Birel ART/TM) got off to a good start in Prefinal A, but Lucas Fluxa Cross (KR/Iame) was in the lead on the first lap. Guillaume Bouzar (Tony Kart/Vortex) took 3rd, more than 2″ ahead of Elliot Kaczynski (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Jan Przyrowski (Tony Kart/Vortex). Maxens Verbrugge (Exprit/TM) attacked in the middle of the peloton. Kutskov kept his hopes alive in the wheel tracks of leader Fluxa Cross. Further back, Douwe Dedecker (KR/Iame) had taken 4th position ahead of Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM). Kutskov went on the attack on the penultimate lap and took the lead, but Fluxa came out of the last corner at full speed and won the race. Bouzar was more than 3” behind in 3rd place, ahead of Dedecker and Tue. Verbrugge finished 17th and Andy Consani (Sodi/TM) 20th.

Oleksander Bondarev (LN/Vortex) kept the advantage at the start of Prefinal B against Kirill Dzitiev (Tony Kart/Vortex), who was soon overtaken by Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin/TM). Dmitry Matveev (Tony Kart/Vortex) had remained 4th for the moment ahead of Martin Molnar (Energy/TM). Bondarev took the lead, Dzitiev passed Khavalkin in 2nd and Matveev in 3rd. Bondarev was joined by his three pursuers. Dzitiev took the lead after half-race, followed by Matveev and Khavalkin, Bondarev having dropped to 4th place. The tension increased in the last two laps. Dzitiev managed to win the race against Matveev, Khavalkin 3rd and Bondarev 4th. Aleksandar Bogunovic (KR/Iame) finished 5th by 1,3”. Thomas Quincé (Tony Kart/TM) had regained two places in 21st position, Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished 23rd.
