Hiltbrand in the lead after the KZ2 heats in Sarno

Thanks to his two victories, Pedro Hiltbrand (Birel ART/TM) returned to the top of the KZ2 class at the WSK Super Master Series in Sarno, ahead of the excellent Tom Leuillet (Birel ART/TM), who also won twice. Matteo Vigano (Birel ART/TM) moved up from 10th to 3rd place, while Laurens van Hoepen’s (Birel ART/TM) 4th place secured the top four for the Lissone brand. Emilien Denner (Sodi/TM) had moved up from 3rd to 5th place, followed by Alessio Piccini (Birel ART/TM) who had moved up six places. Jérémy Iglesias (CRG/TM) was in 7th position, Adrien Renaudin (Tony Kart/Vortex) in 11th after a difficult last run. Francesco Celenta (Parolin/TM) moved up 16 places to 13th, Giuseppe Palomba (Birel ART/TM) 15th after moving up eight places.

Senna van Walstijn (Sodi/TM) had a good start but had to give up at the beginning of his third race and ended up in 16th place. Title contender David Trefilov (Maranello/TM) finished 21st. Among the French who are true KZ2 drivers, Mattéo Spirgel (Sodi/TM) was the best placed in 30th position, Arthur Carbonnel and Thomas Imbourg (Sodi/TM) followed in 35th and 36th, each delayed by a spoiler penalty. Corentin Rousseau (Sodi/TM) was 42nd.
