WSK Super Master Series: Coluccio wins OK Final in Lonato

Freddie Slater (LN/Vortex) came from behind leader Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/Vortex) on the first lap of the WSK Super Master Series OK Final in Lonato, while James Egozi (Tony Kart/Vortex) moved up to 3rd place. Enzo Deligny (Parolin/TM) was 12th. The two frontrunners had relegated their pursuers by more than a second, with Slater proving increasingly threatening for Coluccio who reacted with several fastest times. Gustaw Wisniewski (Exprit/TM) attacked Ean Eyckmans (Tony Kart/Vortex) for 4th position while Matheus Ferreira (KR/Iame) had a bad start and had to drop 11 places. Conversely, Alex Powell (KR/Iame) moved up 15 places. Cristian Bertuca (Birel ART/TM) was back in 6th place, following Tuukka Taponen (Tony Kart/Vortex). Deligny was 8th. Coluccio increased his lead over Slater to over a second on lap 15. Slater started to lap faster than Coluccio at the end of the race, but the Italian was in control. Coluccio was a masterful 8 tenths ahead of Slater, who was surprisingly fast for his first race in OK. Wisniewski was 3rd at 2,7”, Taponen 4th and Egozi 5th. Deligny finished 7th behind Bertuca, with Powell 12th (+17 pl).
