Van Walstijn starts again on pole for KZ2 in Lonato

57 KZ2 drivers took part in the WSK Super Master Series Qualifying in Lonato with an air temperature of only 4°.

Senna van Walstijn (Sodi/TM) quickly made the difference in Session 1, far ahead of Adrien Renaudin (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Pedro Hiltbrand (Birel ART/TM), who pulled in early. Van Walstijn remained the leader until the end with 45’175. Arvid Lindblad (KR/TM) followed by 54 thousandths, then David Liwinski (Birel ART/TM) third at 9 hundredths. Arthur Carbonnel (Sodi/TM) finished 4th ahead of Renaudin. Thomas Imbourg (Sodi/TM) was 11th, Paul Loussier (Sodi/TM) 14th, Celian Gallasin (CRG/TM) 17th, and Damien Vallar (Sodi/TM) 17th. Emilien Denner did not take part in the session.

Corentin Rousseau (Sodi/TM) was the leader of the second session, followed by Jérémy Iglesias (CRG/TM) and David Trefilov (Maranello/TM). Tom Leuillet (Birel ART/TM) was in the top three. Trefilov finished on 45”322 followed by Iglesias and Leuillet at 87 thousandths. Moritz Ebner (Birel ART/TM) was 4th and Stan Pex (KR/TM) 5th. Rousseau was 11th and Mattéo Spirgel (Sodi/TM) 24th.
