The fact is sufficiently rare to be underlined: a woman won the Qualifying Heats of the most competitive category of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Bahrain. Tereza Babickova (CZE) took two victories in the Senior MAX class, which gave her the lead over poleman (and reigning OK World Champion) Callum Bradshaw (GBR).
Paul Fourquemin (FRA) managed to hold on to 3rd place as Clayton Ravenscroft (GBR) came back, while Kai Hunter (GBR) was still in the top five. Sean Butcher (GBR) was back from 12th to 6th ahead of Andrej Petrovic (SVK) and Mark Kimber (GBR). Thomas Ricci (FRA) was still in 19th place and Enzo Caldaras (FRA) had managed to move up 11 places to 29th.
