Another victory for Vigano in the second KZ heat

It was least 37° in the shade for the second Qualifying Heat of the European KZ Championship in Adria. The grid was in the same order as Qualifying. Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR/Iame) lost five places at the start of the race. Matteo Vigano (Birel ART/TM) and Viktor Gustavsson (Birel ART/TM) finished the first lap in the lead, but Paolo Ippolito (CRG/TM) then moved up to 2nd ahead of Jérémy Iglesias (CRG/TM) and Antonelli, who was quick to react. Adrien Renaudin (Sodi/TM) was 5th after a good start. Antonelli attacked Iglesias for 3rd place. Stan Pex (KR/TM) was 6th ahead of Emilien Denner (Intrepid/TM) and Gustavsson. Riccardo Longhi (Birel ART/TM) had regained five positions in 16th place. Stan Pex entered the top five behind Renaudin and attacked him shortly after the halfway point. Vigano managed to win for the second time despite pressure from Ippolito. Antonelli took 3rd place again, Stan Pex finished 4th ahead of Renaudin. Denner finished 7th, Longhi 17th after losing ground. The strange feeling of the Adria hierarchy did not dissipate.
