RMCIT: The Hunter clan remains in power in Senior

Rhys and Kai Hunter (GBR – Kosmic – Dan Holland Racing) maintained their lead very convincingly at the end of the Qualifying Heats of the Rotax MAX International Trophy in Le Mans. While Rhys won five times, Kai won four times and between them they won nine out of 15 races. The family’s performance left one in awe of the potential of the two brothers and the DHR team.

Kovacs Zsombor (HUN – Exprit – KMS Europe) took the 3rd place from Enzo Caldaras (FRA – Kosmic – KPR), who was always convincing. Nolan Lemeray (FRA – EOS) finished the day very well and was in the top five ahead of Luca Leistra (BEL – Tony Kart – Bouvin Power) who was also in good form. Arthur Roché (FRA – Kosmic – PKS) finished in 7th place, having moved up seven places to the same level as Paul Fourquemin (FRA – Sodi – PKS) in 8th place, ahead of Alexander Abkhazava (GEO – Kosmic – Dan Holland Racing) and Andrej Petrovic (SRB – Lion Kart – Sport Still), who completed the top 10, also on the rise.

Arthur Marcou (FRA – Redspeed) finished in 12th place, followed by the surprising Maxime Seranzi, who climbed 11 places, and Jolan Raccamier (Kosmic), who was brilliant, but was sent back to the back of the pack during the B-D heat. Similarly Micah Barthélémy (FRA – Exprit) dropped to 16th place after retiring in heat C-F. Gaspard Simon (FRA – Kosmic) limited the damage in 18th position, Valentin Gil (FRA – Tony Kart) came back to 21st, ahead of Tim Mérieux (FRA – Kosmic) totalling 20 places regained.
