140 drivers in Wackersdorf: participation on the rise

Last week, the Genk paddock was full of negative rumours about the number of participants for the 3rd round of the FIA Karting European Championship – OK and Junior in Wackersdorf. However, the impact of the additional sanitary constraints was largely overestimated as the German competition has the largest field of the European season with a more than honourable total of 140 drivers, all tested negative for coronavirus, 65 in OK and 75 in OK-Junior. The weekend is therefore looking very promising for the attribution of the titles, all the more so since the weather forecast is very favourable.
