Foteev the Mini Rok leader at the end of the Winter Cup heats

Thanks to his two victories, German Foteev (Energy/Vortex) took the lead in the Mini Rok heats against Jan Przyrowski (Parolin/Vortex) and Rashid Al Dhaheri (Parolin/Vortex). Adam Hideg (Parolin/Vortex) and Aditya Wibowo (Parolin/Vortex) moved up 14 places, completing the top five. Maciej Gladysz (Parolin/Vortex) moved up from 25th to 8th position, while poleman Dmitry Matveev (Energy/Vortex) fell to 20th after a retirement in the first heat. Although he also retired once, young Frenchman Thomas Quincé (Parolin/Vortex) improved slightly to 39th, keeping his hopes of qualifying for Sunday morning’s Super Heat.
