Super Master Series: Another pole for Badoer in Junior in Adria

There were 73 participants in the OK-Junior Qualifying Practice for the first round of the 2020 WSK Super Master Series. The Adria track was dry despite overcast weather for the three 6-minute sessions, and the temperature was around 10°.

In the first session, Tymoteusz Kucharczyk (RK/TM) set the fastest time of 49”774 on his last run, taking a 79-thousandths advantage over Ugo Ugochukwu (Kosmic/Vortex). Artem Severiukhin (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished 3rd, Alfio Spina (KR/Iame) 6th, Freddie Slater (Kosmic/Vortex) 9th and Macéo Capietto (KR/Iame) 10th.

Brando Badoer (KR/Iame) was 13 thousandths ahead of Karol Pasiewicz (Tony Kart/Vortex) in the last seconds of the second session with a lap of 49”757. Evan Giltaire (Sodi/TM) was 3rd by 0.120″, followed by Tuukka Taponen (Redspeed/Iame) and Cristian Bertuca (Birel ART/TM).

Christian Ho (KR/Iame) finished at the top of the third session with a time of 49”829, 1.4 tenths slower than Arvid Lindblad (KR/Iame) and Maxwell Dodds (Exprit/TM). Martinus Stenshorne (KR/Iame) finished 4th by 2 tenths, while Maxens Verbrugge (KR/Iame) was satisfied with 21st position.

With the KR Motorsport team, Badoer once again took pole position after the Champions Cup last week, ahead of Kucharczyk and Ho.
