The Timed Practice of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Sarno continued with the DD2 Master category under the hot Neapolitan sun. Anti Ollikainen (FIN) set a significant lap, but Roberto Pesevski (AUT) managed to beat him by 4 hundredths with a lap of 59”412. Matias Rodriguez (ARG) took 3rd place by 0.149” ahead of Henrijs Grube (LVA) and Rodrigo Eckholt (CHI).
Nicholas Verheul (ZAF) made the difference in the even session against Slawomir Muranski (POL), then Arto Savenius (FIN) and Joao Oliveira (PRT) came in between. Verheul’s performance, 59”526, was not exceeded and the ranking was frozen with Savenius 2nd, Oliveira 3rd, Muranski 4th and Jared Freestone (CAN) 5th. Rudy Champion (FRA) was 8th by 0.285”.
In the overall ranking, Pesevski remained on pole ahead of Ollikainen, Verheul was 3rd, followed by Rodriguez and Grube. Champion was ranked 19th.
