The Academy Trophy drivers fought in their last two heats on Sunday morning under a cloudy sky but on a dry track.

Filip Jenic (SRB) managed to take the lead in the C-D heat by passing Maxwell Dodds (GBR). While Jenic won, Jacob Douglas (NZL) took 2nd place at the expense of Dodds. Justin Arseneau (CAN) climbed six places to finish 4th ahead of Bartolomej Piekutowski (POL).

In the AB heat, Robert De Haan (NLD) took 1st place in the first lap, but Christian Ho (SGP) and Kajus Siksnelis (LTU) passed him after three laps, while Alexander Gubenko (RUS) quickly returned to 3rd position. Ho won the race 5 tenths ahead of Siksnelis, while Gubenko finished 3rd with a gain of nine places. De Haan was 4th against Paolo Ferrari (ITA) and Elliott Vayron (FRA). Mattéo Spirgel (FRA) was only 11th after losing ground early in the race.

Ferrari remained in 10th place, Spirgel finished 17th and Oleksander Partyshev (UKR) was 19th and out of the running to claim the title.
